Froth Wax
It’s one of the most important items when hitting the water but it’s not you board or fins.
Good wax is essential to keep your feet on the glass.
Now when we start to talk wax, everyone is loyal to a brand and will swear by it and that’s
fine but you may be missing out.
The guys at Froth have over 30 years of experience, since the days when founder
Garry Neave, started experimenting with formulas for his surf wax.
8 Years later and the year 1972, became the time that his Froth dream became reality
with North Narrabeen Wax Co.
Apart from it’s All Water wax, one item that appears to have the end user in mind
is the All Girls Wax.
This wax is not only pink in colour, applies to the board with ease but has the smell
of a mango cocktail, which has you waiting for Katut to appear with a tropical cocktail.
The Super Sticky wax is my pick of the range as it’s suitable for all persons and is great
in cold water. In fact start with a spread of the Tropical wax and then add a layer of
Super Sticky and you’re on the way to keeping your feet where you need them.
The Extra Sticky can be used on everything to a SUP to Skimboards and even
ice hockey sticks. Yes ice hockey players wax the taped part of their stick so the
rubber puck grips more effectively.
An impressive fact about the North Narrabeen Wax Co is the sponsorship provided
to many of the up and coming surfers in Australia, something we love seeing
local companies do.
Froth Wax can be purchased at over 170 outlets around Australia, so step outside
the box and try something new, like me you might be surprised.
